TDSB is Canada’s largest school board and one of the world’s most linguistically diverse. Students speak over 80 languages as a first or second tongue. Two hundred seventy thousand students are enrolled in programs at 555 elementary and secondary schools. In addition to the regular curriculum, the board offers specialized programs including special-needs and gifted programs, technical education, international baccalaureate and after-school language courses.
